Joost Meijs nieuwe CEO Tenfold Group,

eigenaar Dimitri Romeijnders naar holding

EINDHOVEN – Joost Meijs is per 1 februari 2023 benoemd tot CEO van Tenfold Group, een van de bekendste Nederlandse verpakkingsspecialisten met opdrachtgevers wereldwijd. Meijs volgt in die functie Tenfold-eigenaar Dimitri Romeijnders op die zich vanuit zijn positie als eigenaar van de Tenfold Group Holding nadrukkelijk bezig gaat houden met overnames, strategie en nieuwe initiatieven.

Uitbreiding MT 

Mede vanwege de groei van het bedrijf in de afgelopen jaren en nieuwe overnames op korte termijn, is ook het Management Team (MT) van Tenfold Group uitgebreid en bestaat nu uit Joost Meijs (CEO), Natasja Groeneweg (CFO), Petra Boute (HR Director), Nadine Bylda (Supply Chain Director) en Noël Laumen (Innovation & Sustainability Director). Tenfold Group, gevestigd op 3 verschillende locaties inclusief het hoofdkantoor in Eindhoven, telt op dit moment 100 medewerkers, daar komen er de komende maanden circa 50 bij. 

Internationaal netwerk 

Tenfold Group, ontstaan door het samenvoegen van diverse specialistische verpakkingsbedrijven, beheerst de gehele keten en beschikt over een internationaal netwerk, zegt Dimitri Romeijnders. “De komende jaren groeien we verder. Als eigenaar van de holding heb ik nu, meer dan voorheen, de handen vrij om te ondernemen en strategische keuzes te maken.” 

Nog meer focus op buitenland 

”We hebben een heldere rolverdeling”, benadrukt Joost Meijs, de kersverse CEO van Tenfold Group “Dimitri Romeijnders is de ondernemer pur sang en ik ben de manager die het MT leidt dat is samengesteld met toppers in hun vakgebied.” CEO Meijs, voorheen Commercieel Directeur bij Tenfold Group, heeft ruim twintig jaar commerciële internationale ervaring in de verpakkingsindustrie.” Hij gaat voor nog meer focus op het buitenland. “De kracht van Tenfold Group komt extra tot uiting als we de grens overgaan. Het internationale speelveld voelt bij wijze van spreken als een thuiswedstrijd. En de klant is koning, ik kan dat niet vaak genoeg benadrukken.” 

MT-leden  

Natasja Groeneweg is een ‘nieuw gezicht’ bij Tenfold Group, zij is op 2 januari 2023 gestart als Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Na maar liefst 26 jaar bij één en dezelfde werkgever (Keter Group) de CFO-rol te hebben vervuld van o.a. de tuinmeubeldivisie Jardin/Allibert maakte ze de overstap naar het kleinere, maar zeer ambitieuze Tenfold. “Ik voelde me meteen thuis en herkende de sfeer en dynamiek die een familiebedrijf eigen is”. “Mijn kennis en kunde kan ik meteen toepassen om de financiële processen naar het benodigde niveau te tillen om de vervolgstappen te kunnen maken in de groeistrategie”. Natasja woont in Tilburg en werkt veel vanuit Eindhoven waar Tenfold onlangs een prachtig kantoor heeft betrokken.  

Het nieuwe MT-lid Petra Boute (HR Director) is een geboren Tilburgse. Zij werkte voorheen, vanuit haar eigen bedrijf (HR- en arbeidsbemiddeling),  als HR-manager bij een internationale verpakkingsspecialist. “Alles wat met HR te maken heeft zat in mijn takenpakket, inclusief de cao-onderhandelingen met de vakbonden.” In juni 2022 is ze bij Tenfold Group gestart, inmiddels is ze er fulltime aan de slag. Hoe het haar bevalt? “Top! Want Tenfold is een prachtig bedrijf met grote ambities. Bij Tenfold Group zetten we hoog in op opleidingstrajecten. Medewerkers willen terecht weten wat hun eigen toekomstperspectief is binnen een organisatie die inzet op groei.” 

De twee ‘zittende’ MT-leden Nadine Bylda (Supply Chain Director) en Noël Laumen (Innovation & Sustainability Director) zijn blij met hun nieuwe MT-collega’s. “Zij brengen veel kennis en ervaring mee”, zegt Nadine Bylda. “Dat geeft Tenfold Group nóg meer slagkracht doordat ieder MT-lid de focus legt op zijn eigen vakgebied, met als resultaat een krachtenbundeling die je een voorsprong geeft op je concurrenten. De uitbreiding van het MT geeft mij persoonlijk ruimte voor focus op integraties van overgenomen bedrijven en customer & operational excellence.”  

In de verpakkingsindustrie gebruiken we veel hout, plastic en metaal, zegt MT-lid Noël Laumen. “In de toekomst moeten we op een andere manier met deze grondstoffen omgaan. Bij Tenfold zetten we daarom sterk in op duurzaamheid & innovatie. In onze missie staat onder andere: ‘We willen een bijdrage leveren aan een betere wereld met onze duurzame en innovatieve verpakkings- en supply chain oplossingen’. Tenfold doet dit door het slim inzetten van innovatie, zowel binnen ons eigen bedrijf als bij onze klanten.” Laumen benadrukt dat Tenfold vanuit een regierol kijkt naar complexe vraagstukken in de verpakkingsketen. “Het geheel ondersteunen we met vernieuwende IT-oplossingen zoals onze meest recente innovatie TenTracked.”  

Dimitri Romeijnders, eigenaar van de Tenfold Group Holding, is intussen alweer bezig met nieuwe overnames. “Onze gesprekken met twee verpakkingsbedrijven die gekozen hebben voor Tenfold Group zijn zo goed als afgerond. Daar zal het niet bij blijven want wij kiezen, in het belang van de klant, voor schaalgrootte.”

EINDHOVEN – On 1 February 2023, Joost Meijs was appointed CEO of the Tenfold Group, one of the best-known Dutch packaging specialists with clients around the world. In this position, Meijs succeeds Tenfold owner Dimitri Romeijnders, who will focus on acquisitions, strategy and new initiatives in his position as owner of Tenfold Group Holding. 

MT expanded 

Partly due to the company’s growth in recent years and new acquisitions in the near future, the Tenfold Group Management Team (MT) has also been expanded and now consists of Joost Meijs (CEO), Natasja Groeneweg (CFO), Petra Boute (HR Director), Nadine Bylda (Supply Chain Director) and Noël Laumen (Innovation & Sustainability Director). A new Operations Director will also start in mid-March. The Tenfold Group, which is based at three locations including its Eindhoven headquarters, has 100 staff members at present, but will be welcoming around 50 more in the coming months. 

International network 

The Tenfold Group, which was created by merging several specialist packaging companies, manages the entire chain and has an international network at its disposal, says Dimitri Romeijnders. ‘We will continue to grow in the coming years. Being the owner of the Holding gives me more time than before to focus on entrepreneurship making strategic choices.’ 

More focus on international markets 

‘Our roles are clearly defined,’ explains Joost Meijs, the Tenfold Group’s brand-new CEO. ‘Dimitri Romeijnders is an entrepreneur pur sang, and I am the manager responsible for the MT composed of members who are leaders in their fields.’ CEO Meijs, formerly the Tenfold Group’s Commercial Director, has more than 20 years of international commercial experience in the packaging industry. He’s aiming for an even greater international focus. ‘The power of Tenfold Group really comes to its full potential when we move to the international playing field. You could say that operating on the international market feels like playing a home game. And the customer is always our top priority – I can’t emphasise that enough.’ 

MT members  

Natasja Groeneweg is new to the Tenfold Group, having taken up the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on 2 January 2023. After an impressive 26 years with her previous employer (the Keter Group) in the role of CFO for parties such as the Jardin/Allibert garden furniture division, she has made the switch to the smaller, but extremely ambitious Tenfold. ‘I immediately felt at home and recognised the atmosphere and dynamics that come with a family business,’ she says. ‘I can use my knowledge and skills right away to elevate the financial processes to the next level required for us to take the next steps in our growth strategy.’ Natasja lives in Tilburg and frequently works from Eindhoven, where Tenfold recently moved into its beautiful new office.  

New MT member Petra Boute (HR Director) is a native of Tilburg. She previously had her own HR and employment mediation company, before that she worked as an HR manager for an international packaging specialist. ‘I was responsible for everything relating to HR, including CLA negotiations with the unions.’ She started at the Tenfold Group in June 2022, and now works there full-time. When asked how her first expirience was, she responds: ‘Fantastic! Tenfold is a wonderful company with great ambitions. Training programmes are a high priority for us at the Tenfold Group. Employees want to know what their future prospects are in an organisation committed to growth, and rightly so.’ 

The two incumbent MT members, Nadine Bylda (Supply Chain Director) and Noël Laumen (Sustainability & IT Director) are happy with their new MT colleagues. ‘They contribute a great deal of knowledge and experience,’ says Nadine Bylda. ‘That makes the Tenfold Group even more effective because each MT member can focus on their own area of expertise, resulting in a joining of forces that puts us ahead of our competitors. The expansion of the MT gives me more room, personally, to focus on the integration of acquired companies and customer and operational excellence.’  

The packaging industry uses a lot of wood, plastic and metal, observes MT member Noël Laumen. ‘In the future, we will have to deal with these raw materials differently. That’s why the Tenfold Group is strongly committed to sustainability and innovation. Our mission statement includes the following: “We want to contribute to a better world with our sustainable and innovative packaging and supply chain solutions”. Tenfold accomplishes this through the smart use of innovation, both within our own company and with our customers.’ Laumen highlights Tenfold’s overseeing role in examining complex packaging chain issues. ‘We support the whole chain with innovative IT solutions such as our most recent development, TenTracked.’  

Dimitri Romeijnders, owner of Tenfold Group Holding, is already working towards new acquisitions. ‘Our talks with two packaging companies that have chosen the Tenfold Group are virtually complete. We won’t stop there, because we have chosen scale in order to benefit our customers.’
