Ons bedrijf, verpakkingsspecialist Tenfold Group, heeft wederom een aantal branchegenoten overgenomen. Het betreft Holland Packing in Breda en de Witt Eindverpakkingssystemen (inclusief Youngsunpack Europe) in Drunen. “We zijn verheugd dat deze gerenommeerde bedrijven vanaf nu deel uitmaken van Tenfold Group”, zeggen Dimitri Romeijnders (Tenfold Group Holding) en CEO Joost Meijs.

Holland Packing in Breda

Tenfold Group, ontstaan door het samenvoegen van diverse specialistische verpakkingsbedrijven, beheerst de gehele keten en beschikt over een internationaal netwerk. De komende jaren groeit Tenfold Group verder. “Dat is een van de redenen waarom Holland Packing zich heeft aangesloten bij Tenfold Group”, aldus Ed Vermeulen, samen met Thijs van der Made eigenaar van Holland Packing, een bedrijf met een lange geschiedenis. Vermeulen, trots: “Opgericht in 1880 in de Leuvehaven in Rotterdam! We hebben een traditie van meer dan 140 jaar.” Holland Packing (circa 30 medewerkers) behoort tot één van de beste industriële verpakkers in Nederland. Maar om die sterke positie in de toekomst te behouden heb je schaalgrootte nodig, benadrukt Vermeulen. “Onder de vlag van Tenfold Group is die schaalvergroting gegarandeerd.”

De Witt/Youngsunpack Europe in Drunen

Door een krachtenbundeling van de diverse bedrijfsonderdelen is Tenfold Group in staat om te excelleren op de markt, zegt Richard Harmeling, samen met Marc van Loon eigenaar van de Witt Eindverpakkingssystemen en Youngsunpack Europe. “Tenfold Group is een sterke speler op de markt. De firma De Witt, waar ik in 1985 als monteur ben gestart, telt op dit moment een kleine twintig medewerkers. Ons team maakt graag deel van uit van Tenfold. De bedrijfsfocus ligt er op duurzaamheid, door de hele organisatie heen.” Ook beschikt men over de financiële middelen om kapitaalintensieve investeringen door te voeren, zo voegt Harmeling er aan toe.

‘Bedrijven met een uitstekende reputatie’

Joost Meijs, sinds 1 februari 2023 CEO van Tenfold Group, is ‘maar wat blij’ met het toetreden van Holland Packing en de Witt/Youngsunpack Europe tot Tenfold Group. “Beide bedrijven hebben een uitstekende reputatie in de verpakkingssector en zijn een directe versterking voor de Tenfold Group.” Dimitri Romeijnders, die zich vanuit zijn positie binnen de Tenfold Group Holding bezighoudt met overnames, strategie en nieuwe initiatieven, kijkt alweer vooruit. “De komende jaren groeien we verder, dat staat wel vast. De Tenfold Group telt nu ruim 150 teamleden, verspreid over diverse locaties.” Mede vanwege de groei van het bedrijf in de afgelopen jaren en nieuwe overnames is het Management Team (MT) van Tenfold Group recentelijk uitgebreid. Ook nam Tenfold Group onlangs haar hoofdkantoor in Eindhoven in gebruik.

Our company, the Tenfold Group, has acquired two industry partners, specifically Holland Packing in Breda, and de Witt Eindverpakkingssystemen (including Youngsunpack Europe) in Drunen. ‘We are delighted that these renowned companies will be part of the Tenfold Group from now on,’ say Dimitri Romeijnders (Tenfold Group Holding) and CEO Joost Meijs.

The Tenfold Group, which was created by merging several specialist packaging companies, manages the entire chain and has an international network at its disposal. The next few years Tenfold Group will grow even further. ‘That’s one of the reasons that Holland Packing has joined the Tenfold Group,’ explains Ed Vermeulen, together with Thijs van der Made, owner of long-standing company Holland Packing. Vermeulen proudly continues: ‘Founded in 1880 in the Leuvehaven in Rotterdam, we have a tradition going back more than 140 years.’ Holland Packing has around 30 employees and is one of the leading industrial packaging companies in the Netherlands. However, as Vermeulen emphasises, you must be able to scale up in order to maintain that strong position in the future. ‘That ability to scale up is guaranteed under the auspices of the Tenfold Group.’

Combining the strengths of the various business units enables the Tenfold Group to excel on the market, says Richard Harmeling, together with Marc van Loon, owner of de Witt Eindverpakkingssystemen and Youngsunpack Europe. ‘The Tenfold Group is a strong player in the market. I started out as a mechanic at De Witt in 1985, and the company now has almost 20 employees. Our team is happy to be part of Tenfold. The business focus is on Sustainability, throughout the entire organisation.’ They also have the financial resources to make capital-intensive investments, adds Harmeling.

‘Companies with excellent reputations’

Joost Meijs, CEO of the Tenfold Group since 1 February 2023, is ‘very happy’ to have Holland Packing and de Witt/Youngsunpack Europe on board. ‘Both companies have excellent reputations in the packaging sector and will immediately strengthen the Tenfold Group.’ Dimitri Romeijnders, who deals with acquisitions, strategy and new initiatives in his position at Tenfold Group Holding, is already looking ahead. ‘There’s no doubt we will continue to grow in the coming years. The Tenfold Group now has more than 150 employees across a number of locations.’ Partly due to the company’s growth in recent years and the new acquisitions, the Tenfold Group Management Team (MT) has just been expanded. The Tenfold Group also recently moved into its headquarters in Eindhoven.
